In a blog post and in a supporting video, New Zealand-based Cirtex Industries Ltd announced its sponsorship of a scholarship for one recipient to earn an NZ Diploma in Engineering (Civil). The program, TK1019, is delivered by the New Zealand Institute of Highway Technology and accredited by the country’s Institute of Professional Engineers (IPENZ).

Applicants must express their interest in consideration shortly. Cirtex will announce a recipient on November 9.
“[Cirtex] has always had a strong focus on continued learning and staff development, investing significant amounts on training and developing staff to allow them to excel in their role,” the company writes.

ABOUT THE NZ DIPLOMA

The NZ Diploma in Engineering (Civil) is comprised of 16 courses, 12 of which are required and 4 of which are electives. All courses are of a 15-credit value, with 240 credits needed to complete the program.
The program is expected to take two years for full-time participants.
NZIHT offer the program on a part-time basis through the Western Institute of Technology at Taranaki (WITT) courtesy of a mixed-mode delivery format. This flexibility expands the applicant pool to those who cannot pursue a conventional full-time status.
