Prefabricated floating cover systems are having an exceptional, beneficial impact on water resources around the world. CLI is now sharing its expertise in this and other fabricated products sectors internationally. Strategic partners are welcomed.

8 May 2013 – Colorado Lining International, Inc. (CLI), a full-service geosynthetics contractor offering a range of containment materials, custom fabrication, certified installation and turn-key construction services, announces strategic partnership opportunities in the floating cover and fabricated product markets internationally. Building upon its 35 years of experience with geosynthetics, CLI is now expanding its involvement in water resource and fabrication work to include technical support and prefabrication anywhere in the world.
The company has already completed floating cover projects in the United States, United Arab Emirates, and Australia; and it has provided products and technical support for a wide range of water containment and delivery projects in Europe, China, the Philippines, Egypt, Africa, Mexico, Central and South America, and the Caribbean.
“Clean, dependable access in conjunction with protection and containment of water resources are universal needs,” says John Heap, President of CLI. “We have a long history of working in this sector, and by partnering with regional companies around the world, CLI can deliver floating cover and fabricated product technology in a cost-effective and well-designed manner.”
Economical prefabrication and shipping is available from both CLI’s facility in Houston, Texas and their corporate headquarters in Denver Colorado. CLI employs a staff of geosynthetics experts ready to solve the most complicated containment challenge with the right product and the right technical approach. On-site construction and technical support is also available internationally.
Floating covers are utilized for evaporative control, potable water storage, protection from pollution, precipitation incursion, wastewater management, and more. The type of geomembrane selected determines suitability for the design, upfront project cost, and site service life. CLI’s decades of experience helps ensure proper geosynthetic and system selection, prefabrication, and construction. These factors improve project economics, safety, and long-term integrity.
CLI welcomes inquiries from international engineering design firms, geosynthetic installers, contractors, and other key construction stakeholders interested in expanding the use of floating covers and fabricated products in their region.
