A lakefront homeowner in St. Cloud, Minnesota may face criminal charges after he extended his property into the lake by adding fill. The property owner did this despite having been in contact with city officials and told not to do it. On the bright side: the man actually made a smarter installation than most defiant property owners. He used geotextile underlay with riprap.
