27 April 2010 – Cooley Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. David Shields to the position of Business Development Manager for Cooley Engineered Membranes. Mr. Shields’ responsibilities will include identifying and developing new markets for the division.
Mr. Shields has an extensive background with the aviation industry and was formerly Director of Business Development for a large specialty coating and laminating organization.
Mr. Shields is a participant in the FAA Cabin Fire Safety Group and has presented numerous papers at FAA Cabin Fire Safety conferences, as well as at TAPPI and Western Michigan University paper conferences. He has also been published in Adhesives Age Magazine. Mr. Shields currently resides in Harmony, NJ, with his wife Amy.
