The International Erosion Control Association Region One (IECA) has announced the winner of its Environmental Connection 2016 Presenter of the Year award. Dwayne Stenlund, CPESC has been honored for his presentation “Developing Best Management Practice Guidance Matrix Decision Trees.”
The talk was presented twice and with strong audience support during the annual Environmental Connection conference, which was held in San Antonio, Texas (February 2016).
“I am pleased to be the winner of this respected award,” said Stenlund in a statement shared by IECA. “My presentation helped participants understand the performance limits of BMPs for developing an accurate and complete SWPPP and how to implement successful BMP program delivery outcomes.”
Stenlund said he developed the matrix as a way to help professionals scale outcome expectation (“where cheap is not the best”) and apply the knowledge to developed BMP decision matrices.
IECA Members can view Stenlund’s full presentation on the IECA website under the Knowledge Database section.
