East Coast Erosion Control Announces Ownership Transition

East Coast Erosion Blankets, LLC (dba East Coast Erosion Control) has grown substantially in recent years, earned multiple business honors and awards, and appointed a new president (long-time employee Diane M. Hitt). This week, the company another major change: the departure of former Managing Partner Rickey Geissler.
Geissler had been with the company since its inception, and in stepping away he has relinquished his shares to co-founders John G. Smith and Anthony Forino.
Smith and Forino will retain full ownership of the fast-growing, Bernville, Pennsylvania-headquartered firm.
In a press release, Smith noted that “this transition will help the company achieve their strategic actions and vision to company growth. The company has a long-term commitment to expand operationally and will continue with product, personnel, and customer relationship development.”
The company operates multiple manufacturing facilities in the United States and produces rolled erosion control products (RECPs), turf reinforcement mats (TRMs), and sediment retention fiber rolls (SRFRs).
Diane M. Hitt will continue serving as company President.
