BERNVILLE, Pa. – East Coast Erosion Blankets, LLC, dba East Coast Erosion Control, a privately held erosion control product manufacturing company, has an immediate employment opening for a Technical Services Manager.

Position duties include:
- Provide product use expertise for distributors, end users, and customer service colleagues
- Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry codes and standards
- Investigate customer concerns regarding quality or performance of products, in coordination with the Customer Service Department
- Maintain and complete submittals and re-certifications, provide necessary follow-up, and obtain proper testing data for DOT product approval
- Complete case studies
- Serve as Quality Control Manager
- Perform quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance of products with stated requirements
- Annually update product material and performance specifications
- Conduct engineering training programs
- Facilitate and maintain ECDesigner and promote use
- Complete material certifications
- Participate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions
- Assist with product and service development, as well as improving existing products and services
- Coordinate and attend trade shows or other exhibits
- Provide information for trade magazine inclusion
- Attend contractor and engineering workshops
- Facilitate general CSI specifications and installation guidelines (e.g., proper use, staple patterns)
- Provide comments and participates in industry regulations (e.g., ASTM, NTPEP, EPA, FHWA, and DOT)
- Serve as industry liaison in designated areas
- Train and assist customer service representatives on technical product information
- Research new and potential jobs for special products through web-based programs
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience directly in the erosion control industry.
- CPESC certification preferred.
- Travel: 15 – 20% of time.
