F17 Update

ASTM International Committee F17 on Plastic Piping Systems has issued a work item, WK31232, “Standard Practice for Structural Design of Thermoplastic Corrugated Wall Stormwater Collection Chambers.” This is a revision to existing standard F2787-09. The posted rationale is to “Revise load factors for global buckling equation, Eq. 14, to be consistent with the specified safety factor.”
