31 August 2010 – The Society of Plastics Engineers (SPE) has announced the keynote speaker and three plenary speakers for FOAMS 2010, which will be held 28 September – 1 October 2010 in Seattle, Washington. The first two days will focus on the FOAMS 2010 Tutorial tracks. The last two days will focus on the topical conference. The event is sponsored by SPE’s Thermoplastic Materials and Foams Division and Pacific Northwest Section.

A poster session for graduate student papers will also be held.
TUTORIAL DAYS
The pre-conference Tutorial days (September 28 and 29) at FOAMS 2010 will offer practical information on the development of new blowing agents, design of foam products, and basic technical background on foaming polymers. The Tutorial is a must for new entrants to polymeric foaming as well as for individuals seeking a strong technical understanding of the foaming process. The Tutorial will be taught by three experts in foam technology.
