The digital resource, which is a joint venture with globally operating Strata Systems, provides a broad range of technical content from geosynthetics applications.
GeoAcademy (http://geoacademy.com.br) is a free, open-access product aimed at rapid, wide dissemination of geosynthetic engineering information.
“GeoAcademy has been born from the intention of developing the geosynthetic market through modern and effective solutions,” says explains Victor Pimentel , CEO of Geo Soluções. “[Its objective is] solving the challenges of civil and geotechnical engineering by making access to knowledge about these applications more democratic.”
Nearly 300 lessons have been provided, with a variety of text and video presentation options. The already robust content is expected to expand quickly. The flexibility of the system will allow it to be developed for other world markets too.

Furthermore, any company, professional, or academic can collaborate with GeoAcademy in the creation of documents and videos. A committee will be responsible for managing the content of the platform to assess its relevance and suitability to the tool.
