GeoAmericas 2020 will be the 4th Pan-American Regional Conference on Geosynthetics. The quadrennial event will be held 26 – 29 April 2020 in historic Rio de Janiero, Brazil. The conference has grown steadily in scope, attendance, and reputation since its inaugural gathering in Mexico City (2008). Subsequent iterations in Lima (2012) and Miami (2016) showed strong attendance growth and raised significant expectations for GeoAmericas 2020. More than 1,000 participants from 40 countries are expected for a rich program of lectures, technical exchange, and networking.
The organizers have marked the one-year out point with a fantastic announcement for the field: an abstracts deadline extension to 26 May 2019.
