Terrafix Winter Seminar Series Terrafix Winter Seminar SeriesThe annual terrafix® Winter Seminar Series delivers updated engineering and geosynthetic product information in a concise, free-to-attend seminar in multiple cities across Canada. This year’s program involves substantial updates, following significant changes in the market, standards, construction techniques, and other aspects that impact how to properly design with, specify, and use geosynthetics. The state-of-practices updates are also being enhanced by the addition of special guest speaker Dr. George Koerner, P.E. to the next two sessions.
Koerner is the Director of the Geosynthetic Institute (GSI), where he heads up laboratory accreditation, field certification, and continuing education. He manages several research projects and has published more than 300 technical papers in his 35-year career in polymeric materials for geotechnical engineering applications. He is a registered professional engineer, a certified quality auditor, and an ASTM Fellow (2013).
Dr. Koerner will speak at the Markham (January 12) and Mississauga (January 13) sessions only.  All seminars are free to attend and include continental breakfast, coffee breaks, and lunch; but, advanced registration is required. Email info@terrafixgeo.com.
