CONTINUED GROWTH

The Municipality of Abu Dhabi City’s sponsorship has been important to the steady growth of the Geosynthetics Middle East conference series. Strong networking and technical transfer has characterized the event, which increasingly occupies an important space. The UAE’s strategic geographic space has helped make it a truly international exchange, with participants coming from all over the world and business connections often stressing the inter-related infrastructure markets between the Middle East, Africa, and the Asian Sub-continent.
The UAE’s ambitious infrastructure program, which strongly targets sustainability in its 2030 plan, also has a strong influence on the discussions.
