BERNVILLE, Pa. – 8 August 2014 – East Coast Erosion Blankets, LLC, dba East Coast Erosion Control, a privately held erosion control product manufacturing company, announced today that Diane M. Hitt has been named President of East Coast Erosion Control, effective immediately. Ms. Hitt has served as the company’s General Manager for more than 10 years. She has been with the company since its inception and has been a key contributor to the company’s growth and success in the erosion and sediment control industry.
“East Coast Erosion Control is a company recognized both for its premier products and strong organization values,” says Rickey Geissler, who Ms. Hitt will replace. “Diane is well-suited to lead East Coast Erosion Control in the future as we take the company to the next level.”
Mr. Geissler will remain will remain with East Coast Erosion Control and serve as its Managing Partner.
In her new capacity, Ms. Hitt will be responsible for strategic growth opportunities, the development of new programs and products, and directing sales activities. Her unique mix of skills provides the company with the leadership necessary to maintain East Coast Erosion Control’s reputation as a respected leader in the industry and community.
Hitt was recently recognized with the Women in Manufacturing STEP Award, which honors women who have demonstrated excellence and leadership in the manufacturing industry.
