30 November 2010 – From January 2011, Ian Fraser, will succeed Hein Jas as Tensar International’s Director of Application Technology.
Ian Fraser will lead the company’s development of new and existing markets as it seeks to speed the adoption of geosynthetic materials in construction projects.
“Innovation and the continual development of our technology is central to Tensar’s future expansion, so I am thrilled to be taking on this key role which presents significant challenges”, points out Ian Fraser. “Particularly in the global markets, where I am looking forward to getting my teeth into a wider range of applications and lead the development of innovative solutions with our talented team”, he adds.
“I intend to bring a pragmatic approach to the application of Tensar’s engineering expertise, based on my broad experience in dealing with geotechnical disciplines and technologies. I have always been minded to apply the principles of value engineering and to implement technically ‘smart’ solutions in a cost effective way.”
