DENVER, Colo. – The International Erosion Control Association (IECA) is calling for nominations for the IECA Board of Directors for terms beginning in February 2012. The IECA Board of Directors is made up of nine members, each serving a three-year term. The election for the three available positions will be held this fall.
IECA’s success as an organization is due largely to the commitment, energy and expertise of its volunteers, including those who serve on the IECA Board of Directors. IECA is asking for assistance inidentifying IECA members whose extensive industry and volunteer experience, as well as outstanding leadership skills, would serve to enhance the IECA Board.
Candidates may be nominated by a colleague or be self-nominated, and winners are selected by the IECA membership. The deadline to submit a nomination is August 12, 2011.
Complete details and nomination forms may be found on IECA’s website at http://www.ieca.org/coursepdf/2011nominations.pdf
