Technical textiles conferences, including discussions of geosynthetics, are on the rise in India. Significant effort is being made to increase awareness not only among users and potential users but among manufacturers, regulators, and many others. The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and the Indian Ministry of Textiles are playing key roles.
