Insurance Perspective: Preventing Damage During Construction

Mike Brown, a vice president and senior underwriter (Engineering) for Swiss Re, has published an article on potential water damage during construction and methods of prevention. One of the very interesting aspects of this is that he has published the article in Canadian Underwriters–an insurance industry publication. He notes, for example, the use of geotextiles to help stabilized exposed slopes.
