The second phase of the closure of the Jamestown Landfill, Tuolumne County, California, will go forth. The county board voted unanimously to approve significant closure works that will involve the construction of a new buttress, a retooled geosynthetic cover, and much more. Cost projections and additional state approvals will be needed next.
