Emas Kiara Industries Berhad (“EKIB”) is please to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, Emas Kiara Geo Services Sdn Bhd (“EKGS”), has on 10 December 2009 accepted a contract awarded by WCT Construction Sdn Bhd (“WCT”) via a letter of award dated 8 December 2009, for the sub-contract work of supply and installation of geosynthetic products for the development of new LCC Terminal at KL International Airport, Sepang Selangor Darul Ehsan with a total sub-contract value RM49.76 million (“the Sub-Contract”).
1. INTRODUCTION

2. DURATION OF THE SUB CONTRACT
The Sub-Contract work will commence immediately and is expected to complete by second quarter of 2010.
3. FINANCIAL EFFECTS
The Sub-Contract work is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of EKIB for the financial year ending 31 December 2010.
4. DIRECTORS’ AND MAJOR SHAREHOLDERS’ INTEREST
None of the Directors or major shareholders of EKIB or persons connected with them have interest whether direct or indirect, in the above Sub-Contract.
