Lyondell to Pay $162 Million Fine

Lyondell Chemical Co., the U.S. unit of LyondellBasell Industries AF, has agreed to pay $162 million to settle environmental claims by the U.S. government and to fund hazardous-waste cleanup, including six Superfund sites.
