The Maine Department of Environmental Protection (MEDEP), working with the United States Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA), has brought a hefty $157,000 fine against a company for Clean Water Act violations. One of the primary failings at the oil storage facilities has been inadequately maintained secondary containment liners.
