Major Dredging Needed

One of the most important dredging projects in the world is on the schedule: the Panama Canal. From the Pacific entrance alone project engineers aim to dredge 9.1 million cubic meters of material at a cost of about $180 million. The Atlantic dredging will run closer to $70 million.
