The Geosynthetic Certification Institute – Inspectors Certification Program (GCI – ICP) exam has been added to the next CQA Week. To be held 7 – 9 September 2016 in Jefferson City, Missouri and hosted by the Missouri Department of Natural Resources (MoDNR), the three-day training offers multiple engineering courses under a single, reduced-cost registration.
The program is open to the general engineering, construction, and environmental community.
CQA Week professional development targets construction quality assurance and electrical leak location (ELL) in landfill and containment engineering applications.
The GCI – ICP exam will be offered after the September 9 course.
INSPECTORS CERTIFICATION – GEOSYNTHETICS & CCLs
The inspectors certification program offers two paths: one focused on geosynthetics, the other on compacted clay liners. A candidate may take either or both after paying the GCI – ICP fee (directly to the Geosynthetic Institute [GSI]). Pre-payment to GSI is due 7 – 10 days before sitting for the exam. A proxy fee must also be paid to TRI Environmental, which is providing the instruction for CQA Week. That proxy fee may be paid for along with the education package when registering.
