The Fox Waterway Agency, which has been using geotextile tubes in dredging operations on the Fox River and Chain O’ Lakes, has applied for a 10-year permit from the US Army Corp of Engineers to expand the use of tubes for sediment removal and dewatering. Approval and active project furthing is expected by early autumn.
