29 April 2010 – Elmarco Inc. and The Nonwovens Institute at North Carolina State University are pleased to announce NANOFIBERS FOR THE 3RD MILLENNIUM 2010 (N3M 2010) will be held in Raleigh, North Carolina 30 August – 1 September 2010. This is the third year for the event, moving to North America after two years in Europe. The objective of the conference is to accelerate the adoption of nanofibers in a wide range of innovative functional products.
The conference agenda will be organized into two con-current sections:
Nanofiber Technology and Trends — Topics will include a discussion of:
- Technology Innovations and Trends
- Characterization of Nanofibers
- Modeling and Theoretical Considerations n Nanofibers
- Structure and Morphology of Polymeric organic and inorganic Nanofibers
- Surface Modification and Functionalization of Nanofibers
Nanofibers in Products — Topics will include a discussion of:
- Business Development Trends
- Nanofiber Industry Challenges
- Nanofiber Cost Benefit Analysis, Return on Investment
- Nanofibers in Products
- Automotive
- Healthcare / Life Sciences
- Energy
- Environment / Water / Air
- Infrastructure
This conference will bring together experts in the field from universities, research centers and industry who have a common interest in the realization of nanofibers into products which touch our daily lives.
The deadlines of N3M 2010 are:
- 17 May 2010: Papers/Abstracts Submissions
- 31 May 2010: Authors’ Notifications
- 1 July 2010: Accepted Presenter Registration & Payment and Upload of Presentations
Participants can attend any sessions and will receive electronic proceedings on a CD. In addition, an exhibition area will be available for the display of accepted posters and products.
All Submitted papers/abstracts will go through a review process by the selection committee. Accepted abstracts will have the opportunity to submit extended abstracts for publication.
