In the province of Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, officials have ordered linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) geomembranes to cap a 40-year-old dump. Connected to this project will be the cleanup of PCB-contaminated soils. Details on the site’s restoration are forthcoming.
