22 October 2010 – Advanced Drainage Systems, Inc. (ADS) has added an innovative new product to its Arc line of plastic leaching chambers to meet the needs of septic leach field installers.
The new Arc 36LP is specially designed for challenging installations such as high groundwater conditions or other site restrictions. Installing systems requiring shallow burial depths has several advantages, including greater separation from the groundwater, enhanced aerobic bacterial action and improved percolation rates. The new Arc 36LP chamber leverages more than 40 years of experience designing state-of-the-art engineered structures.
“Our new Arc 36LP chamber is engineered for optimal performance,” said Joe Chlapaty, chairman and CEO of ADS. “While maximizing infiltrative surface area, the chamber also offers a 20-degree integral articulating joint that is ideal for either straight or contoured septic leach field applications.”
The Arc 36LP also incorporates a ‘Lock and Drop’ joint that provides a more positive connection during installation and backfill.
Like all Arc chambers, the new Arc 36LP offers a wide range of features to maximize jobsite flexibility and ease of installation. These include a universal inlet/outlet end cap, two inspection vent ports on every unit with easy-to-remove knockouts, diamond plate texture increases slip resistance, and a convenient five-foot length. Lightweight and easy to handle, the Arc 36LP can be quickly installed by one person and it can be easily transported in a pick-up truck to the jobsite.
