In Oak Ridge, Tennessee the first contracts connected the Recovery Act (or stimulus) funds are going out. The Department of Energy, working through Bechtel Jacobs, is awarding subcontracts for a DOE nuclear landfill expansion. Bids on the geosynthetic lining system are still being solicited.
