Varennes, Québec – Solmax International Inc., a worldwide manufacturer of polyethylene geomembrane, announces that the lengths of some of its standard textured products have been optimized.
This initiative, which began in 2008 for products shipped by container, is now also in effect for our intermodal and truck deliveries. This not only enhances our land shipment loading, but also means that the inherent transportation costs of your projects will be reduced.
OPTIMIZED PRODUCTS (with length increases noted)
SOLMAX 460T-1000 – 520′ to 540′ (+4%)
SOLMAX 460ST-1000 – 520′ to 560′ (+7%)
SOLMAX 480T-1000 – 400′ to 420′ (+5%)
SOLMAX 480ST-1000 – 400′ to 440′ (+9%)
SOLMAX 860T-1000 – 520′ to 540′ (+4%)
SOLMAX 860ST-1000 – 520′ to 540′ (+4%)
This adjustment has minimal impact on the roll dimensions but allows us to maximize the loading capacity while conforming to road regulations. The changes are effective immediately and specification sheets, invoices and all product identifications will be adjusted accordingly.
