Presto Geosystems New Website and Construction ResourcesPresto Geosystems® has launched a new website (www.prestogeo.com) with a large range of construction resources for its soil stabilization and stormwater products. Much like the company’s successful international app for iPhone and Android systems, the new website was built around customer feedback and needs.
“The way our customers expect to find products and solutions has changed over the past few years,” said Presto Geosystems Director Bill Handlos, P.E. in a release. “The customer moves at a much faster pace and with expectations to make decisions with a quick look and less reading. Our new site still highlights the breadth and depth of markets our technologies have served over the past 35 years, as well as innovations that were created along the way to improve functionality and construction.”
Among the updates to the site’s design in functionality is the implementation of mega menus and significantly greater utilization of videos and graphics.
These visual upgrades and diversity in how information is presented assists users in finding the right information and construction resources more efficiently.
The site architecture is also responsive to the various types of screen sizes and devices through which users access content, such as differing desktop, mobile, and tablet devices. This enables users to read the site in the most convenient and cleanest way possible, regardless of how they visit the portal.
Presto Geosystems® introduced GEOWEB® 3D geocells to the civil market in the early 1980s. (Read some of the history of geocell creation and development here.)  The advent of geocells created a new class of geosynthetics that is now widely accepted and utilized around the world to solve unique soil stability problems.
