Poprex GeoSolutions - Slope Stabilization
Propex GeoSolutions Shoreline StabilizationAfter forming two new sales groups—Geotextile Sales and Erosion Control & Specialty Solutions—Propex GeoSolutions continues to reinvigorate its business. The company has announced a more ambitious face-to-face presence at industry shows. This includes three stops in February:

  • American Coal Ash Association (ACAA) Winter Meeting – Tampa, Florida, February 2 – 4
  • Golf Industry Show (GIS) – San Diego, California, February 10 – 11
  • Environmental Connection 2016 – San Antonio, Texas, February 16 – 19

“It’s one thing to say we launched a new distinct Geotextile sales force, and a separate Erosion Control and Specialty Solutions sales force to better serve our customers and the industry,” said Andy Durham, Director of Marketing. “But it’s an altogether different thing to make that sales force readily available and accessible at all of the industry trade shows. We have to show our customers  in real ways, exactly how our new dual-function sales team and innovative and sustainable solutions will benefit them tremendously – in a personal face to face setting.”

PROPEX GEOSOLUTIONS EVENTS

Coal ash is one of the hottest topics in engineering right now, following the US EPA’s substantial update to coal combustion residual (CCR) storage rules. The American Coal Ash Association winter meeting is co-hosted by the University of Kentucky – Center for Applied Energy Research. Propex GeoSolutions will showcase geotextile and erosion control solutions used in the disposal and remediation of CCRs.
In San Diego, Propex will feature its Propex TEEtoGREEN Sustainable Golf Course Solutions. The Golf Industry Show is the largest trade show in golf course management. It hosts 6,000+ superintendents, course owners, course operators, suppliers, builders, and more. These courses require many erosion and slope stabilization solutions, drainage support, and efficient water features.
At the International Erosion Control Association (IECA) Region One annual conference, Environmental Connection, Propex GeoSolutions is both an exhibitor and a Mountain Level sponsor. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the full Propex GeoSolutions team and learn more about the new innovations in quality and performance offered within the portfolio of earth stabilization solutions.
Additionally, the company will be active in the IECA sessions. Erosion Control Engineering Specialist Drew Loizeaux will present, for example, on “A Quantified Approach to the Functional Longevity of Geosynthetic Rolled Erosion Control Products (GRECPs)” on February 17.
The company also has launched a new website with emphasis on markets served and easier access to technical data and information.
