Raven Adds a New Reinforced Geomembrane to DURA-SKRIM SeriesRaven Industries’ Engineered Films Division has extended its well-known reinforced geomembranes family. The new DURA-SKRIM® materials include the N-Series (scrim-reinforced polyethylene line), NT-Series (scrim-reinforced, textured polyethylene), and NQ-Series (scrim-reinforced polypropylene).
The NT’s texturing is rooted in the company’s GeoGrip™ texture technology.
“DURA-SKRIM N, NT and NQ-Series are flexible reinforced geomembranes designed to provide unmatched performance and durability for the most challenging projects,” the company writes. “These geomembranes are reinforced with a closely knit 9×9 polyester, 1000 denier scrim to provide exceptional toughness and reliability.”
The N-Series includes enhanced stabilization characteristics for applications requiring or potentially including long-term exposure.
The series was officially unveiled for promotion at Geotechnical Frontiers 2017 (March 12 – 15, Orlando, Florida).
