IGS HondurasThe International Geosynthetics Society (IGS) has grown substantially in chapters, corporate members and international breadth in the past four years. There are now more than 40 chapters, and one of the newest, IGS Honduras, is hitting the ground running with Honduras 2014: The First Honduran National Conference on Geosynthetics.
The event will be held 16 – 18 June 2014 in Tegucigalpa, Honduras at the College of Civil Engineering (CICH).
As noted in a March 2014 article, this event may be a catalyst for significant Central America and Caribbean region involvement in IGS and for the dissemination of geosynthetic information and utilization in the region.
