SAN DIEGO, California – The Layfield Group is pleased to announce the employment of Mr. Shannon Goodrich as Business Development Manager based out of San Diego, California. Shannon has over twenty six years of experience in geosynthetics engineering, construction management, and third party construction quality assurance services.
Shannon will be responsible for business development activities for the water/wastewater, solid waste engineering, anaerobic digester, and agricultural food processing sectors specializing in environmental containment. He will work closely with owners, developers, regulatory agencies and design engineers to ensure best management practices for the safe and reliable usage of geomembrane lining and floating cover systems as well as other specialty geosynthetics.
Shannon has expertise developing technologies such as biogas collection covers, conveyance, and process treatment systems. Shannon has designed and built over 100 landfill gas and digester biogas development projects including those with innovative geosynthetics and geomembrane components.
