Varennes, QC – Solmax, a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of geomembranes, is pleased to announce that Mathieu Cornellier has joined Solmax as Technical Manager, covering the Americas, Africa and Europe. Mathieu is a certified Civil Engineer with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnique de Montreal.
For the last 10 years, Cornellier has occupied various positions in the construction industry, including work as a job site engineer, project manager and estimator on civil engineering projects. For the past 3 years, Cornellier has worked for Mondo and Mondo USA, a rubber flooring manufacturer and installer. He brings to Solmax the experience he acquired as Mondo’s former Product Manager and most recently Mondo USA’s Director of Construction.
As Solmax’s Technical Manager, Cornellier will be responsible for the technical commercialization of Solmax products and will support the sales team with his expertise in project specifications and product applications. He will be in charge of technical related communications to ensure that our proposed products meet customer expectations. Furthermore, he will be responsible for the follow-up and resolution of any customer satisfaction complaints.
