Solmax and Gidrokor

Solmax has announced that Gidrokor has been presented with a commemorative plaque during the MINEX Russia 2013 mining forum. The event took place in Moscow, 2 October 2013. Solmax’s plaque recognized the strong success that the two companies have achieved together, particularly in regards to geomembranes and the Russian market.
The companies have worked together since 2000. They have collaborated on some of Russia’s biggest mining and waste management projects, according to a release from Solmax.
“Through our relationship with Gidrokor,” writes Solmax’s organization, “[we have] supplied geomembranes for major players in Russia, such as Petropavlovsk PLC, United Company RUSAL, MMC Norilsk Nickel and Nord Gold N.V. The projects have been a phenomenal success…..”
The two companies intend to continue their market-building work together, regarding geosynthetics in Russia’s most environmentally sensitive applications.
