Surf's Up…Perhaps

Giant geotextile bags are being considered for the creation of an artificial reef to fight erosion at Fletcher’s Cove in Southern California. The bags would be anchored to the seafloor and create waves that might be used for surfing. Also under consideration is a systerm of vertically installed polyurethane pipes. Read about it in The Log.
