I-CORP International’s Dr. Ian D. Peggs, P.E., P.Eng has shared a survey on extra-wide geomembranes. Your participation is invited. Responses are sought from manufacturers, distributors, installers, construction/contracting firms, design engineers, etc.
The information gathering project aims to initially assess the market potential for 11.6m-wide, seamless panels of polyethylene and polypropylene geomembranes. Responses to the 8-question survey are requested by I-CORP by mid-August.

EXTRA-WIDE GEOMEMBRANES
- Is there interest 11.6 m (38 ft.) wide HDPE, LLDPE, and fPP geomembrane panels in thicknesses ranging from 10 – 100 mil?
- Would such a material offer welcomed advantages for installers, fabricators, facility owners, etc. over 7 – 7.5 m (23 – 24.5 ft)?
- What applications would extra-wide geomembranes be most useful for (e.g., landfills, reservoirs, mining)?
These are a few of the questions the survey seeks feedback on.
