On 17 November 2017, in the Small Hall of the Palace of the Republic in Minsk, Belarus, the national Entrepreneur of the Year awards ceremony took place. Among the many businesses honored was rapidly growing geosynthetics manufacturer Mahina-TST.
The company, which is based in Mogilev, was one of six companies with more than 300 employees recognized for sustainability—which in this context was to recognize business continuity, growth, and dependability. A sustainable success.
SUSTAINABLE SUCCESS IN GEOSYNTHETICS
The contest has been held nearly annually since 1997. The hallmarks of the evaluation process include:
- Entrepreneurs apply on their own behalf
- Evaluations are conducted on objective economic criteria
- Regional location, company size, and other category-determining factors are taken into account
- The jury is composed of representatives of businesses and public associations
