The World's Water Stress

Forty-three countries and 700 million people are facing “water stress,” according to a report from the World Bank. The report singles out Ethiopia, Haiti and Niger as nations facing the worst water shortages. The World Bank has spent $54 billion financing water projects for countries lacking water infrastructure.
