A third presentation will be added shortly to complete a trilogy of reinforcement offerings, each of which is worth 1.5 PDHs following successful completion of post-presentation tests. The new presentations, which are accessible 24 hours per day from anywhere in the world, are “Design of Geosynthetic-Reinforced Unpaved Roads” (presented by both Giroud and Han) and “Mechanisms of Geosynthetic Reinforcement in Roads.”
The forthcoming third presentation in the series will focus on reinforcement of paved roads.
Giroud and Han are both well-known in the field, but their names became linked in road reinforcement designs a decade ago when they published what is commonly referred to as the Giroud-Han Design Method.
