With the help of a $450,000 grant from the Illinois Department of Transportation and donated earthworks time and labor from the Land Improvement Contractors of America (Illinois Chapter), the University of Illinois has developed an erosion control materials outdoor testing facility. It’s thought that the site’s testing ability is, at this point, not standardized, though.
